Description
A 3-day, 2-night trek in the Colca Canyon, descending to San Juan de Chuccho, a full day to explore and relax at the Sangalle Oasis, and a final ascent back to Cabanaconde.

Itinerary
- Day 1: pickup between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m., a 3-hour drive to Chivay for breakfast, and a visit to Cruz del Condor (45 minutes watching the condor flight).
- Arrival in Cabanaconde (3,287 masl) and start of the descent on foot (approx. 3 hours, zigzagging) to San Juan de Chuccho (2,200 masl), where you have lunch and stay overnight in private rooms.
- Free afternoon in San Juan to observe local fruit trees and medicinal plants; dinner and overnight in the village.
- Day 2: breakfast in San Juan and an approx. 3-hour hike along the canyon floor, passing through the towns of Cosñirhua and Malata, to the Sangalle Oasis.
- Lunch, a free afternoon at the oasis pool, dinner, and a second night in Sangalle.
- Day 3: ascent back to Cabanaconde (5:00 a.m., approx. 3 hours) and breakfast.
- Return to Chivay with stops at the Antahuilque viewpoint and the town of Maca (colonial church, handicrafts, and sancayo sour drink); optional dip in the hot springs beneath the Inca Bridge, in Yanque, and lunch in Chivay.
- Return to Arequipa with stops at the volcano viewpoint and the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve; arrival around 5:00 p.m.

Arrival point two blocks from the main square in Arequipa. It is recommended to bring cash, as card payments are not possible during the tour.
