Description
Experience white-water rafting on the Chili River, just 20 minutes from downtown Arequipa: a 6 km run with more than 10 class III rapids, suitable for everyone, with professional guides and all safety gear included.

Itinerary
- Pickup at the agreed point (Historic Center, Cayma, or Yanahuara) and transfer to the equipment warehouse at Jr. Bolognesi 383, Acequia Alta.
- Welcome from the guides, instructions on proper gear use, and change of clothes; personal belongings are stored in the vehicle.
- About a 6-minute transfer to the put-in point at the Gruta de la Virgen de Chapí, Chilina Valley.
- On-river safety briefing: positions in the raft, what to do if you fall in the water, and tips before setting off.
- Paddle down the Chili River rapids for approximately 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes.
- Exit the river, change clothes, and review photos/videos of the trip before returning to the pickup point.

Departure schedule
Daily departures at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. The full activity takes about 3 hours, of which roughly 1 hour 15 minutes is spent on the river.

Commercial class III level, suitable for beginners; includes a mandatory safety briefing before entering the river.
Additional info
Pickup can be arranged in the Historic Center, Cayma, or Yanahuara; pickup from other areas of the city can be coordinated for an extra fee. The meeting point is the equipment warehouse at Jirón Bolognesi 383, Acequia Alta (a block and a half from the Acequia Alta church), where parking is also available if you arrive in your own vehicle.
